Hard
Drive Data Recovery
A hard drive
crash can be a
huge disaster
no matter whether
you are a home
users, corporation,
or government
agency. Data
loss can have
a huge effect
on people's lives.
If your hard drive
has failed, don't
panic. There is
a very good chance
your data is still
perfectly recoverable.
We can successfully
recover data from
hard
drives, RAID
systems, laptops,
external
hard drives,
flash
media, digital
cameras, iPod's,
and other personal
electronics.
We also specialize
in Email
data recovery.
Once you've suffered
data loss, how
you proceed from
there can have
a big impact on
whether your data
can be fully recovered
or not. Trying
to run disk utilities,
even at the suggestion
of technical support
and drive manufacturers,
is not always
a prudent step
and can actually
result in the
data becoming
unrecoverable.
We recover data
from just about
every operating
system including
all versions of
Windows,
Apple
/ Macintosh,
Linux,
Unix,
and Novell.
Physical Hard
Drive Failures
If the drive
is making any
unusual noises
(clicking, whirring,
scraping, squealing,
etc.) POWER
OFF THE COMPUTER
IMMEDIATELY! This
is usually an
indication of
severe physical
damage, and can
easily result
in complete and
total data loss.
Whatever you do,
DO NOT reapply
power to the drive.
For your convenience,
we have included
MP3 sound clips
of some of the
more common sounds
that are heard
when a drive has
suffered a mechanical
failure:
Crash
1 : Crash
2 : Crash
3 : Crash
4 : Crash
5 : Crash
6
The
sound clips listed
represent a major
physical failure
of the hard drive's
internal components,
and in most cases
this type of recovery
will need to be
completed in our
Class-100 clean
room environment.
A clean room is
a strictly controlled
area where there
are no more than
100 particles
larger than 0.5
microns in any
given cubic foot
of air. This area
is many times
cleaner than even
a surgical room.
Within this environment
we are able to
make the repairs
necessary to your
drive so that
it can be imaged,
and then recovered.
Logical
Hard Drive Failures
Logical
failures, while
serious, are no
where near as
catastrophic as
a physical failure.
Data can most
likely be recovered
from a logical
failure after
our technicians
spend time rebuilding
and repairing
file structure
components. Most
logical failures
are due to viruses,
file deletion,
file corruption,
and partition
damage. Even if
you have accidentally
formatted your
hard drive, and
reinstalled a
new operating
system, in most
cases we can still
recover nearly
all of your user
data.
Disasters
Fires,
floods, earthquakes
and even power
spikes can wreak
havoc and totally
destroy your comptuers
and hard drive.
However, your
data may not be
gone forever,
and in many cases
it can still be
recovered. If
you have suffered
this type of catastrophic
event, please
contact us and
we'll be happy
to help you, 1-800-868-6940.
